Welcome to the HUNT film series of The Experience Project. This video series will document the three Alaska hunts we completed in the fall of 2024, for caribou, moose, and mountain goat.
In this first episode, Steve, Mark, Jeff, and Justin leave civilization behind, get dropped off at a riverside landing strip, and begin their 7-day hunt. They have 4 caribou tags to fill and nearly 30 miles of river to navigate with pack rafts before the plane returns to get them at a backcountry airstrip at the end of the week.
On the first full hunt day, they make big moves to chase bulls in the distance and find success — notching the first of their four caribou tags for the trip.
