Welcome to the HUNT film series of The Experience Project. This video series will document the three Alaska hunts we completed in the fall of 2024, for caribou, moose, and mountain goat.
In Episode 8 of the HUNT series, Mark and Jake arrive in Southeast Alaska to hunt mountain goats with Mark Rowenhorst of Limitless Alaska Guiding. And as you will see, just getting into goat country requires a lot of effort. After flying, ferrying, shuttling, hiking, and climbing, they begin to spot goats between fog and clouds. Based on the forecast, they have a brief weather window to fill their tags before a winter storm hits and the river begins to freeze.
